Francis Redmond died from wounds on 20th May, 1915, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 24th London battalion was part of 142 Brigade, 47th Division, that had arrived in France in March 1915 and had been in action during the Battle of Aubers earlier in May. |
